    Esti artículu estudia la cerimonia tradicional de las cantaderas de la ciudá de Llión, que se celebraba antiguamente nas fiestas de l’Asunción nos días 14 a 17 d’agostu, con atención especial a las figuras protagonistas de la fiesta: las propias cantaderas y el personaxe de la sotadera.

    This paper studies the traditional ceremony of the cantaderas in the city of León, which was celebrated in the past during the Assumption of Mary festivities, from August 14 to 17, with particular attention to the leading figures of the festival: the cantaderas themselves and, especially, the character of the sotadera.
