    Resumen El presente artículo analizará el tema del doble en tres narradores peruanos de la Generación del 50: Guillermo Bellido Yábar, Rubén Sueldo Guevara y Felipe Buendía. En esta generación, se desarrolló una vertiente fantástica dentro de la narrativa, la cual fue casi ignorada por la crítica hasta inicios del presente siglo. Uno de los tópicos recurrentes dentro de esta vertiente fue el tema del doble, el cual representa el conflicto entre los conceptos de identidad y alteridad, que se pueden ligar a los cambios sociales que se realizaron en dicha década. Guillermo Bellido Yábar, Rubén Sueldo Guevara y Felipe Buendía son autores poco conocidos de esta generación y tuvieron una breve producción cuentística que fue publicada básicamente en periódicos y revistas, en el que el tema del doble fue tratado de manera particular para abordar el problema de la identidad. Los cuentos de estos autores se caracterizan por insertar la figura del doppelgänger en la urbe, cuya presencia revela la fragmentación del individuo frente a los cambios que se operan en la ciudad debido a la modernidad. El encuentro entre el sujeto original y su doble reflejará la crisis de identidad que experimenta el individuo en el espacio urbano.

    Abstract This article will analyze the theme of the double in three Peruvian narrators of the Generation of 50: Guillermo Bellido Yábar, Rubén Sueldo Guevara, and Felipe Buendía. In this generation, a fantastic aspect developed within the narrative, which was almost ignored by critics until the beginning of this century. One of the recurring topics within this aspect was the theme of the double, which represents the conflict between the concepts of identity and alterity, which can be linked to the social changes that took place in that decade. Guillermo Bellido Yábar, Rubén Sueldo Guevara and Felipe Buendía are little known authors of this generation and had a short narrative production that was published basically in newspapers and magazines, in which the theme of double was treated in a particular way to address the problem of identity. The stories of these authors are characterized by inserting the figure of the doppelgänger in the city, whose presence reveals the fragmentation of the individual in the face of the changes that operate in the city due to modernity. The encounter between the original subject and its double will reflect the crisis of identity experienced by the individual in the urban space.
