    La inteligencia artificial es la última frontera de nuestro desquiciado humanismo y, en su marco, aparecen sistemas de producción artificial de imágenes que nos obligan a reconsiderar los conceptos de imaginación y creatividad, a la vez que establecen un corte profundo con respecto a la historia del arte en general y la de las imágenes en particular, una cesura o disrupción que tiene mucho que ver con el desequilibrado estado del sujeto contemporáneo. Este artículo se propone analizar el nuevo tipo de imágenes artificiales, así como el panorama de la cultura visual en el que se producen, haciendo hincapié en la fenomenología general de la imagen contemporánea y su relación con el pensamiento.

    Artificial intelligence, the last frontier of our deranged humanism, is the framework within which artificial image production systems appear. This is forcing us to reconsider the concepts of imagination and creativity while establishing a deep cut regarding the history of art in general and that of images in particular, a caesura or disruption that has much to do with the unbalanced state of the contemporary subject. The article intends to analyze the new type of artificial images and the panorama of visual culture in which they are generated, emphasizing the general phenomenology of the contemporary image and its relationship with thinking.
