    Un hecho evidenciable es que las consecuencias de la Pandemia producto de la COVID-19 van desde: económicas, financieras, educativas, políticas, sociales, culturales, entre otras; y no fueron ajenas a estados y corporaciones privadas, mucho menos a las personas y sus familias.  Para constatar en nuestros estudiantes estos efectos, se realizó la investigación tipo descriptiva sobre las características de la realidad financiera producida por la crisis sanitaria (Covid 19) de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Economía del Centro Regional Universitario de Coclé, año 2021 y cuyo objetivo principal era describir estas características. Se aplicó un instrumento tipo encuesta el cual fue desarrollado por 103 estudiantes de los cuales el 87% (90 estudiantes) indican que si hubo algún cambio en las finanzas personales.  El 40% (41) de los estudiantes manifestó reducción de ingresos en menos del 25%, 26% (27) que su situación económica se vio muy afectada por una reducción entre el 50% y un 75% de sus ingresos. El covid19 afectó directamente las fuentes de ingreso por la pérdida de trabajo, reducción salarial y reducción de horas laborables entre otras cosas, en el 79% de los estudiantes. El estudio sirve de base para promover algún tipo de ayuda para los estudiantes afectados en sus ingresos familiares para que el acceso de los mismo a la educación no se vea afectado.

    An evident fact is that the consequences of the Pandemic product of COVID-19 range from: economic, financial, educational, political, social, and cultural, among others; and they were not alien to states and private corporations, much less to individuals and their families. To verify these effects in our students, a descriptive type of research carried out on the characteristics of the financial reality produced by the health crisis (Covid 19) from the students of Economics Faculty of the Panama University, Coclé Campus, year 2021 and the main objective was to describe these characteristics.  A survey-type instrument was applied on 103 students: 87% (90 students) indicate that was some changes on their personal finances, 40% (41 students) reported a reduction on their income less than 25% and 26% (27 students) that their economic situation was greatly affected by a reduction between 50% and 75% of their income.  The covid-19 directly affected the sources of income due to job loss, salary reduction and reduction of working hours among other things, in 79% of the students.  The study serves as a basis to promote some type of help for students affected in their family income so that their access to education is not affected.
