    El turismo es una las principales actividades económicas del País, pero esto no significa que sea completamente positiva, por el contrario, es una actividad ambivalente; generando impactos tanto positivos como negativos, dependiendo del ángulo por el que se analice. El Santuario Histórico de Machupicchu es una de las maravillas del mundo moderno, por tal motivo uno de los monumentos más visitados a nivel mundial, es así que este santuario recibe una sobrecarga de visitantes por día, poniendo en riesgo no solo nuestro patrimonio cultural sino también su frágil ecosistema. Para lograr el desarrollo sustentable es necesario una articulación de todos los actores involucrados con la finalidad de salvaguardar nuestro legado histórico cultural, logrando una integración social, económica y cultural en beneficio de la población local y así preservar este recurso cultural y natural para las futuras generaciones.

    Tourism is one of the main economic activities of the country, but this does not mean that it is completely positive, on the contrary, it is an ambivalent activity; generating both positive and negative impacts, depending on the angle from which it is analyzed. The Historic Sanctuary of Machupicchu is one of the wonders of the modern world, for this reason it is one of the most visited monuments in the world. This is why this sanctuary receives an overload of visitors every day, putting at risk not only our cultural heritage but also its fragile ecosystem. In order to achieve sustainable development, it is necessary for all the actors involved to work together to safeguard our historical and cultural legacy, achieving social, economic and cultural integration for the benefit of the local population and thus preserving this cultural and natural resource for future generations.
