    El objetivo de este artículo es examinar el contexto actual de la educación superior en Ecuador, es un elemento clave para comprender la relación entre la educación y la realidad actual del país. En este contexto, se sistematizan los procesos de corto, mediano y largo alcance con el propósito de informar sobre lo que está sucediendo en el ámbito educativo, proporcionando escenarios y acontecimientos relevantes en el tiempo en el que nos desenvolvemos. Desde un enfoque pragmático, se busca esbozar la sincronización de una vertiente educativa que informe de manera precisa y evite la desinformación. Por esta razón, resulta crucial examinar la realidad actual de la educación superior en Ecuador y comprender los diferentes actores involucrados en el ámbito educativo. Estos actores pueden ser paradigmas educativos, modelos, teorías, corrientes filosóficas y epistemológicas. Se argumenta la fundamentación teórica y práctica de la sostenibilidad, proporcionando una breve introducción al tema, desarrollando la temática con una metodología y técnicas específicas, y finalmente presentando conclusiones respaldadas por una bibliografía relevante que enriquece el debate en el ámbito de la educación superior.

    The objective of this article is to examine the current context of higher education in Ecuador, it is a key element to understand the relationship between education and the current reality of the country. In this context, short, medium and long-range processes are systematized with the purpose of informing about what is happening in the educational field, providing relevant scenarios and events in the time in which we operate. From a pragmatic approach, it seeks to outline the synchronization of an educational aspect that informs accurately and avoids misinformation. For this reason, it is crucial to examine the current reality of higher education in Ecuador and understand the different actors involved in the educational field. These actors can be educational paradigms, models, theories, philosophical and epistemological currents. The theoretical and practical foundation of sustainability is argued, providing a brief introduction to the subject, developing the theme with a specific methodology and techniques, and finally presenting conclusions supported by a relevant bibliography that enriches the debate in the field of higher education.
