    La esquizofrenia es una enfermedad mental, trastorno del cerebro que puede afectar a la percepción, pensamiento, humor y conducta, afectando alrededor del 20% de la población y siendo la prevención de estos problemas de salud especialmente importante en el ámbito de la Atención Primaria, puesto que debería ser el punto clave de detección precoz1.

    Hoy en día en España existirían alrededor de 400000 personas diagnosticadas de esquizofrenia2.

    The schizophrenia is a mental illness, a disorder of the brain which can affect the perception, the thought, the humor and the behaviour, affecting 20 % of the population, and being the prevention of these health problems of specially importance in the area of the Primary Care, as it should be the key point of precocious detection1.
