  En este artículo analizamos el cine doméstico como objeto de estudio para la antropología. Para ello, se han utilizado las diferentes etapas de vida por las que pasan estos materiales como eje narrativo. Así, las escenas grabadas, la proyección familiar, el almacenaje, su posterior donación a los archivos públicos, su metamorfosis (digitalización) en estos espacios y, finalmente, los otros usos dados por los cineastas serán las fases por las que hayan atravesado y los escenarios que nos han permitido analizar los diferentes usos y significados de estos materiales.

  El proyecto se ha llevado a cabo seleccionando a una donante del Proyecto Mi Vida de la Filmoteca de Andalucía, catalogando todos sus materiales, entrevistado a los protagonistas y encargado un cortometraje a una cineasta con el material obtenido. De este modo, detonábamos todas las fases de vida de estos materiales ante nosotros, permitiéndonos observarlos e interpretarlos, desembocando en un producto final que es producto y proceso al mismo tiempo: el cortometraje Veladuras. De este modo, resignificación, reciclajes, lectura antropológica o posibilidades etnográficas de estos materiales quedarán expuestos a lo largo de todo el trabajo.

  This paper analyzes the home movies as an object to the anthropological studies. We have built our arrangements through the different stages of these materials: the filmmaking process, the familiar screening, the storage; after that, the donation to the public film archive, their metamorphosis (digitalization) in these places and, finally, other different usages by other filmmakers, a whole life process where we could observe the different usages and meanings of these materials.

  The project was developed by the selection of a donor of the project Mi Vida (Andalucía Public Film Archive), we catalogue her footage, we have made some interviews to the family, and we request the creation of a short film to a filmmaker with all these materials. Thus, we spark off all the stages of these footage before us, letting us to observe and interpretate it. At this way the project finished with the product which is the final task and a part of the process: the short film, Veladuras. At this way, some contents as re-meanings, recyclings, anthropological views or the ethnographical possibilities will be showed along the text.
