El síndrome de Asperger se caracteriza por presentar dificultades a la hora de interactuar socialmente con otras personas y repetir patrones de comportamiento. Las terapias cognitivo – conductuales resultan efectivas a la hora de abordar los desafíos a los que se enfrenta este tipo de paciente, ayudándole a mejorar sus habilidades sociales y reduciendo los comportamientos problemáticos. Destaca la importancia de realizar una intervención temprana y adaptada al individuo para maximizar el beneficio de los resultados. A través de la valoración integral del paciente mediante las catorce necesidades de Virginia Henderson, se pueden priorizar los aspectos que hay que trabajar a la hora de establecer los diagnósticos de enfermería.
The Asperger’s syndrome is characterized by presenting difficulties when interacting socially with other people and repeating behavior patterns in individuals. Cognitive-behavioral therapies are effective in addressing the challenges faced by this type of patient, helping them improve their social skills and reducing problematic behaviors. It highlights the importance of early and tailored intervention to maximize the benefit of the outcomes. Through the comprehensive assessment of the patient using Virginia Henderson’s fourteen needs, it is possible to prioritize the aspects to work on when establishing nursing diagnoses.
