Resumen de Versi a Dina di Camillo Sbarbaro (1931). Testo e analisi variantistica

Francesca Colombi

  • This essay concerns a small love songbook by Camillo Sbarbaro, Versi a Dina, and proposes a variant analysis of the work that completes the picture by Giampiero Costa in the Mondadori «Meridiano» released in January 2022. If in recent Poesie e prose in fact the variants examined are those found in the passage of Versi a Dina from Rimanenze of 1955 to Rimanenze of 1956, and from the latter to the volume Poesie of 1961, this contribution also aims to shed light on the movement of the verses starting from their first appearance in a magazine and up to the Opera in versi e in prosa of 1985. The changes that occurred between the version in the magazine «Circoli» of 1931 and the one published in volume starting from 1955 are of great importance, because the diversity of lexicon and the conspicuous cuts made by the author return another image of the love told. The text of the poems reproduced is the primitive, never republished after the release on «Circoli».
