    Este artículo sostiene que Hegel introduce el concepto de representación política con el fin de evitar hasta donde sea posible la contraposición entre las formas subjetivas y objetivas de libertad en un Estado moderno. En primer lugar, se examina la íntima conexión entre la dinámica económica capitalista y la producción de plebe en el seno de la sociedad civil, tanto como de las instituciones civiles y estatales necesarias para contener, reconducir o evitar este desarrollo. En segundo lugar, se analizan las críticas hegelianas a la representación política liberal. En tercer lugar, se presenta el modelo orgánico de representación política como contrapropuesta hegeliana al sistema liberal. En cuarto lugar, se abordan las críticas del joven Marx al papel del funcionariado como instrumento político idóneo para que el Estado pueda cumplir su tarea reguladora del todo social. Por último, a partir de la distinción entre dos perspectivas divergentes presentes en el planteo de Hegel, se busca delimitar el alcance de su propuesta en torno a la representación política estatal de los intereses sociales más relevantes.

    This article argues that Hegel introduces the concept of political representation to avoid as far as possible the contrast between the subjective and objective forms of freedom in a modern state. First, it examines the intimate connection between capitalist dynamics and the production of the rabble as well as the emergence of the institutional framework that is necessary to contain, redirect or prevent this development. Second, it exposes the Hegelian criticisms of the liberal system of political representation. Third, the organic model of political representation is presented as a counterproposal by Hegel to the liberal system. Fourth, it details the young Marx’s criticisms of the state bureaucracy as an adequate political instrument to regulate the social whole. Finally, based on the distinction between two divergent perspectives present in Hegel’s proposal, it seeks to delimit the scope of his proposal about the political representation of the most relevant social interests.
