En 2015 tuvo lugar el I Congreso sobre Pensamiento Filosófico Contemporáneo organizado por la SAF. Este primer congreso, así como los dos siguientes (los de 2016 y 2017), estuvieron dedicados a autoras que estuvieran vivas y activas todavía en la filosofía.
A partir de la tercera edición vimos claramente que si queríamos continuar con un congreso que cada vez despertaba mayor interés había que cambiar la idea básica del mismo y abandonar la lista de autores en favor del tratamiento de una problemática filosófica y, a ser posible, una tal que pusiera en relación la filosofía con otro ámbito de estudios o de problemas.
Se trataba, en definitiva, de crear un espacio para unos encuentros al margen de la vida académica y abiertos a la sociedad en general en los que participen, por supuesto, las personas que están actualmente investigándolos, pero también otras que podríamos decir que habitan esos problemas.

In 2015, the First Congress on Contemporary Philosophical Thought organized by the SAF took place. This first congress, as well as the next two (those in 2016 and 2017), were dedicated to authors who were still alive and active in philosophy.
From the third edition onwards we clearly saw that if we wanted to continue with a congress that was arousing increasing interest, we had to change its basic idea and abandon the list of authors in favor of the treatment of a philosophical problem and, if possible, a such that it related philosophy to another field of studies or problems.
In short, it was about creating a space for meetings outside academic life and open to society in general in which, of course, the people who are currently researching them participate, but also others who we could say inhabit those spaces. issues.
