    El propósito de este estudio es completar la investigación sobre los emblemas marianos del retablo inmaculista del Monasterio de la Encarnación en Escalona (Toledo), iniciada en el año 2012. Investigación que ha dado como fruto la publicación de cuatro trabajos anteriores.  La quinta entrega es el presente estudio, que revela aspectos del emblema Porta Celi, respecto de su iconografía (descripción y ubicación en el retablo) y de su iconología (interpretaciones teológicas y simbólicas existentes), además de sus fuentes. El método analítico y comparativo tiene como finalidad la obtención de la información teológica necesaria para la correcta interpretación del emblema.

    The purpose of this study is to complete the research on the Marian emblems of the Immaculate Retábulum of the Monasteiro de la Encarnación in Escalona (Toledo), begun in 2012. Research that has resulted in the publication of four previous works.  The fifth installment is the present study, which reveals aspects of the Porta Celi emblem, regarding its iconography (description and location on the altarpiece) and its iconology (existing theological and symbolic interpretations), in addition to its sources. The purpose of the analytical and comparative method is to obtain the theological information necessary for the correct interpretation of the emblem.
