    The article highlightedthe analysis of attitudes with regard to migration from migrants' point of view. The main purpose of the research was to identify major reasons why people migrated from Samarkand, Uzbekistanto other countries. A generalizedq analysis, which was designed to incorporate both qualitative and quantitative data, was used to find out common patterns in migrants' attitudes. The outcomes of the research add to results from previous studies that those who migrate are not the poorer and the less educated but thosethat have enough income and education to migrate

    O artigo analisa as atitudes dos migrantes. O principal objetivo da pesquisa é identificar as principais razões pelas quais as pessoas migram doSamarcanda,Uzbequistão para outros países. Uma análise Q generalizada, que incorpora e integra dados qualitativos e quantitativos, permite descobrir padrões comuns nas atitudes dos migrantes. Os resultados da pesquisa corroboram os resultados de estudos anteriores de que aqueles que migram não são os mais pobres e menos educados, mas aqueles que têm renda e educação suficientes para migrar
