Los tratamientos epiteliales históricos en la arquitectura, se han ido perdiendo. Modas pasajeras, casi arqueológicas, falta de economías debidas, y el olvido de oficios artesanales, ha sido sus causas. Un cúmulo de aculturizaciones y catetismos incultos han ido perdiendo sus autenticidades. Lo que no se conoce no se transmite. El material constitutivo de Cádiz y las ciudades del entorno de la Bahía, es un producto geológico que esculpe nuestras ciudades. La forma de entender la protección y los mensajes soportados en las fachadas de sus arquitecturas, se ha ido ocultando y olvidando. Existen ejemplos aún de estucados, iluminaciones y catecismos en las paredes que además las protegen, cuya verdad debemos reivindicar. Los tratamientos higiénicos y de cales, nos la han preservado, y de nuevo deben rescatarse para mostrar la autenticidad de la historia.

The historical epithelial treatments in architecture have been lost. Passing fashions, almost archaeological, lack of due economies, and the forgetfulness of artisan trades, have been their causes. An accumulation of acculturation and uncultured catetisms have been losing their authenticity. What is not known is not transmitted. The constituent material of Cadiz and the cities of the surroundings of the Bay, is a geological product that sculpts our cities. The way of understanding the protection and the messages supported in the facades of its architectures, has been hidden and forgotten. There are still examples of stucco, illuminations and catechisms on the walls that also protect them, whose truth we must vindicate. The hygienic and lime treatments have preserved them, and again they must be rescued to show the authenticity of history.
