    RESUMEN El análisis del paisaje lingüístico visto a través de los nombres de los restaurantes, ubicados en el Boulevard Costa Verde en la provincia de Panamá Oeste, no solo permite un entendimiento más profundo de las variaciones lingüísticas que caracterizan a esta región, sino que se convierte en un instrumento que sirve para explorar y estudiar la dinámica cultural, la forma cómo evoluciona el lenguaje y la interconexión que se da entre la sociedad en su conjunto, los tipos de comidas y su identidad. El propósito de esta investigación permite desentrañar las connotaciones culturales o los significados que comparten los letreros de estos locales, que no solo se trata de una simple denominación comercial, sino que va más allá al ofrecer una panorámica enriquecedora de la diversidad cultural y lingüística de esta comunidad. Se considera que esta investigación es tipo cualitativa, documental y lingüística, porque en esta se examinan los distintos términos que aparecen en los nombres de estos establecimientos. Los resultados de este análisis revelan diversos cambios lingüísticos que son producto del uso del lenguaje, así como la adopción de ciertas palabras de origen extranjero y la forma creativa en la que son utilizadas. Además, se refleja la influencia de la jerga local en los nombres de estos restaurantes. Por último, se sugiere realizar estos tipos de análisis, ya que estas investigaciones sirven para promover, por medio del estudio de la lengua, la identidad, la diversidad cultural y la comprensión de la importancia que tiene el lenguaje en la sociedad actual.

    The analysis of the linguistic landscape seen through the names of the restaurants, located on Costa Verde Boulevard in the province of Panama Oeste, not only allows a deeper understanding of the linguistic variations that characterize this region, but also becomes an instrument that serves to explore and study cultural dynamics, the way language evolves and the interconnection that occurs between society as a whole, the types of food and its identity. The purpose of this research allows us to unravel the cultural connotations or meanings shared by the signs of these establishments, which are not only a simple commercial name, but go further by offering an enriching overview of the cultural and linguistic diversity of this community. This research is considered to be qualitative, documentary and linguistic, because it examines the different terms that appear in the names of these establishments. The results of this analysis reveal various linguistic changes that are a product of the use of language, as well as the adoption of certain words of foreign origin and the creative way in which they are used. In addition, the influence of local slang is reflected in the names of these restaurants. Finally, it is suggested to carry out these types of analysis, since these investigations serve to promote, through the study of language, identity, cultural diversity and the understanding of the importance of language in today's society.
