    Los centros históricos son espacios que normalmente concentran edificaciones de diferentes etapas arquitectónicas de la ciudad, sin embargo, en ocasiones no siempre se resguardan la mayoría de estos. El caso del centro histórico de Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, es uno de este tipo, pues al cambiar constantemente su imagen urbana, a simple vista no parece ser un sitio con historia por no haber conservado sus bienes monumentales. Sin embargo, mediante una narración cronológica de los acontecimientos más relevantes de este lugar se hará énfasis en que esta zona contiene historia y por lo tanto debe ser reconocido como tal.

    Historical sites are spaces that normally concentrate buildings of different architectural stages of the city, however, sometimes not always protected most of these. The case of the historic site of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas is one of this type, because by constantly changing its urban image to the naked eye does not seem to be a site with history for not having preserved its monumental assets. However, through a chronological narration of the most relevant events of this place will be emphasized that this area contains history and therefore should be recognized as such.
