    El presente artículo busca analizar las transformaciones en la cultura jurídica acaecidas tras la promulgación de la constitución de Cádiz de 1812, su supresión en 1814 y finalmente su restauración en 1820. Para ello, toma como referencia el discurso inaugural de la cátedra de constitución en la Real y Pontificia Universidad de México, dictado por el jurista Blas Osés, así como la prensa y folletería de la época. El contenido de esta disertación permite develar la fracturas y continuidades existentes entre el ordenamiento jurídico del Antiguo Régimen y la Modernidad.

    This paper aims to look into the transformations in the legal culture after the promulgation of the Cadiz Constitution in 1812, its suppression in 1814 and finally its restoration in 1820. To achieve this objective, it takes in consideration a discourse given in the first public lecture of constitutional law in the Royal and Pontifical University of Mexico by the jurist Blas Osés, as well as the press and pamphlets of these years. Its content allows understanding the fractures and continuities between the legal order of the Ancient Regime and the Modernity.
