Resumen de Relaciones evolutivas de los peces Prochilodus reticulatus y Prochilodus magdalenae (Characiformes Prochilodontidae)

  Resumen Se realizó un estudio filogenético entre las especies Prochilodus reticulatus (Valenciennes, 1850) y P. magdalenae (Steindachner, 1879) de gran valor socioeconómico en el país. Inicialmente, las especies fueron colectadas para la extracción del ADN y su posterior caracterización mediante RAPD-PCR para establecer sus relaciones filogenéticas empleando el coeficiente de Jaccard y el método UPGMA. El análisis filogenético de P. reticulatus y P. magdalenae mostró una estrecha relación genética, lo que sugiere que las diferencias encontradas entre ellas pueden considerarse no significativas.

  Abstract A phylogenetic study was carried out between the species Prochilodus reticulatus (Valenciennes, 1850) and P. magdalenae (Steindachner, 1879) of great socioeconomic value in the country. Initially, the species were collected for DNA extraction and subsequent characterization by RAPD-PCR to establish their phylogenetic relationships using the Jaccard coefficient and the UPGMA method. The phylogenetic analysis of P. reticulatus and P. magdalenae showed a close genetic relationship, which suggests that the differences found between them may not be considered significant.
