Resumen de El texto expositivo escrito: caracterización del estado actual en estudiantes de la Carrera de Español

El artículo de investigación propone un acercamiento al estado actual de la construcción de textos expositivos, en estudiantes de primer año de la Carrera de Español de la Universidad de Panamá. Este estudio parte del enfoque cognitivo, comunicativo y sociocultural de la investigadora cubana Angelina Roméu. Esta inquietud nace, debido a la gran cantidad de deficiencias presentadas por los alumnos de primer ingreso, en la Escuela de Español a la hora de elaborar un escrito eficiente. La metodología incluye el aporte teórico que brinda la lingüística textual, específicamente la teoría cognitiva, comunicativa y sociocultural ya mencionada. Se aplican instrumentos pedagógicos para verificar el estado de la cuestión, así como la revisión de la documentación. Se concluye con la certeza de la necesidad urgente de establecer cambios metodológicos en la enseñanza de la construcción textual, esto es, llevar a cabo actividades y estrategias, más eficaces, que den tratamiento a la escritura como proceso y no como resultado.

The research article proposes an approach to the current status of the construction of expository texts, in first-year students of the Spanish Career at Universidad de Panama. This study starts with the cognitive, communicative and sociocultural approach of the Cuban researcher, Angelina Roméu. This concern arises due to the large number of deficiencies presented by admission students at the Spanish School when preparing effective writing. The methodology includes the theoretical contribution that textual linguistics provides, specifically the cognitive, communicative, and sociocultural theory already mentioned. Pedagogical instruments are applied both to verify the status of the issue and examine documents. It concludes with the certainty of the urgent need to establish methodological changes in the teaching of textual construction, that is, to carry out more practical activities and strategies that treat writing as a process rather than a result.
