  Este artículo presenta un estudio económico que tiene como objetivo determinar la rentabilidad de un sistema fotovoltaico genérico para la producción de energía eléctrica en la región castellano-manchega, en el contexto del marco legislativo actual del mercado eléctrico español. Dicho sistema fotovoltaico se ha comparado con otros, tales como un sistema eólico, un sistema minihidráulico y un sistema solar termoeléctrico calculando la producción y los precios de venta al mercado eléctrico para niveles de producción equivalentes. Los parámetros económicos empleados para determinar la rentabilidad de la instalación han sido el Valor Actual Neto (VAN), el Plazo de Recuperación y la Tasa Interna de Rentabilidad (TIR). La valoración económica se ha calculado sobre diferentes escenarios, en los cuales se han considerado diferentes valores para variables cruciales a la hora de estudiar la viabilidad económica del proyecto.

  This paper presents an economic study whose objective is to determine the profitability of a generic photovoltaic system for the production of electric power in the Spanish region of Castilla – La Mancha, in the context of the present legislative framework of the Spanish electricity market. The photovoltaic system has been compared with other systems, such as wind farms, minihydraulic power systems and thermoelectric systems, calculating the energy productions and the price of the energy sold to the market in each case. The economic parameters used to determine the profit value of the installations have been: the Net Present Value (NPV), the payback and the Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The economic appraisal has been calculated on different settings, in which different values for crucial variables have been considered in the study of the economic viability of the project.
