  El presente artículo es derivado de un ejercicio de investigación, su relevancia radica en que los estudios de Habilidades Digitales (HaDi) pueden ser útiles como herramienta para proponer una orientación a seguir, ya sea en torno a las políticas educativas del país o a la creación de un programa de fortalecimiento de las mismas. En virtud de lo anterior, se destaca en el presente escrito un panorama general del abordaje teórico de las HaDi, a fin de enmarcar desde dónde se conciben y si los estudiantes de nivel superior del Instituto Tecnológico de Úrsulo Galván (ITUG) cuentan con ellas, así como la relación con la hipertextualidad en sus prácticas. La idea central es identificar las HaDi que los universitarios necesitan poseer al transitar la educación a distancia. Es así, que este tipo de estudios está cobrando cada día un mayor interés dentro de la dinámica educativa, sirviendo como diagnósticos referenciales para entender e intervenir en los procesos de formación de educación a distancia, lo que supone como ya se dijo antes, el diseño de programas que atienda el desarrollo de las HaDi en el renglón educativo.

  This article is derived from a research exercise its relevance lies in around the fact Digital Skills studies can be useful as a tool to propose an orientation to follow, either around the country's educational policies or the creation of a program to strengthen them. As it was mentioned above is highlighted in this dissertation a general overview of the Digital Skills theoretical approach in order to frame from where they are envisaged and if the higher level students of the Technological Institute of Ursulo Galván (ITUG) have them as well like the relationship with hypertextuality in their practices. The core concept identifying the Digital Skills on university students need to have when they move through distance education. Thus, this type of studies is gaining more interest every day within the educational scope, serving as referential diagnostics to understand and to take part in distance education training processes, which implies, as it has already said before, the design of programs that concern the development of the Digital Skills in the educational field.
