    Este estudio señalaremos la importancia del Soneto como género poético. Veremos el soneto Una llave en East Lansing de Jorge Luis Borges. Basamos nuestra investigación en las diversas teorías desarrolladas por los formalistas rusos sobre la teoría semántica.

    Conceptos basados en el uso del lenguaje que postulan la existencia de una literalidad, en la naturaleza literaria del texto. Logramos presentar un modelo pedagógico del soneto antes señalado de Borges, desde el punto de vista lingüístico, basado en la perspectiva semiótica, para interpretar el mensaje estético     East Lansing, de Jorge Luis Borges.

    This study points out the importance of the Sonnet as a poetic genre. We will see the sonnet A Key in East Lansing by Jorge Luis Borges. We base our research on the various theories developed by the Russian formalists on semantic theory.

    Concepts based on the use of language that postulate the existence of a literality, in the literary nature of the text.   We managed to state a pedagogical model of the aforementioned sonnet of Borges, from the linguistic point of view, based on the semiotic perspective, to interpret the aesthetic message from the semantic and pragmatic syntactic codes of the sonnet: a key in East Lansing, by Jorge Luis Borges.
