    Al hablar de Educación Sexual Integral hacemos referencia al conjunto de actividades que se realizan en las instituciones educativas para que los chicos y las chicas, aprendan a conocer su propio cuerpo, asumir valores y actitudes responsables relacionadas con la sexualidad, conocer y respetar el derecho a la identidad, la no discriminación y el buen trato. La Ley Nacional 26.150, sancionada en el año 2006 y el Programa Nacional de Educación Sexual Integral creado a partir de ella, garantizan a nivel nacional, provincial y municipal el derecho a recibir Educación Sexual Integral (ESI) tanto en escuelas de gestión estatal como privada, laicas o confesionales. Incluye a todos los niveles educativos: inicial, primario, secundario y terciario no universitario y a la formación docente, adecuando los contenidos de manera gradual, de acuerdo con la edad de los estudiantes. En la Provincia de San Juan nos encontramos en una constante dicotomía, ya que adhirió a esa Ley, pero no se la implementa en el sistema, al menos de manera formal. Es a partir de este trabajo que analizaremos el impacto de esta Ley en la provincia y su posible implementación o resistencia.

    When we speak of Comprehensive Sexual Education we refer to the set of activities carried out in educational institutions so that boys and girls learn to know their own body, assume responsible values and attitudes related to sexuality, know and respect the right to identity, non-discrimination and good treatment. National Law 26,150, sanctioned in 2006 and the National Program for Comprehensive Sexual Education created from it guarantee at the national, provincial and municipal levels the right to receive Comprehensive Sexual Education (ESI) in both state and private schools. Secular or confessional. It includes all educational levels: initial, primary, secondary and non-university tertiary and teacher training, adapting the contents gradually, according to the age of the students. In the Province of San Juan we find ourselves in a constant dichotomy, since it adhered to that Law but it is not implemented in the system, at least in a formal way. It is from this work that we will analyze the impact of this Law in the province and its possible implementation or resistance.
