Hace unos pocos meses atrás, se cumplían 100 años de la Revolución Rusa, que significó la apertura a la construcción de una sociedad socialista en el país más atrasado de Europa, como lo era la Rusia Zarista, un estado en proceso de transición al capitalismo con características feudales muy marcadas. Los militantes socialistas que reivindicamos dicho proceso sentimos una franca admiración por el grupo dirigente de la revolución, en particular por uno u otro del dúo Lenin- Trotsky. Sin embargo, este artículo no se propone abrir el debate sobre el proceso que llevo a los bolcheviques al poder entre 1905 y 1917, con una descripción pormenorizada de cada uno de los procesos que atravesaron el camino a la revolución para extraer de allí un manual de acción. Tampoco nos interesa realizar un “homenaje”, una simple mirada contemplativa que destaca la excepcionalidad del pasado. La razón de este artículo es poner sobre la mesa la eficiencia revolucionaria del partido bolchevique y preguntarnos por la revolución socialista en Argentina, antes que la simple y conservadora conmemoración de lo que pasó.

A few months ago, it was the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution, which marked the opening to the construction of a socialist society in the most backward country in Europe, such as Tsarist Russia, a state in the process of transition to capitalism with very marked feudal characteristics. We socialist militants who demand this process have a frank admiration for the leading group of the revolution, especially one or the other of the Lenin-Trotsky duo. However, this article does not intend to open up the debate on the process that brought the Bolsheviks to power between 1905 and 1917, with a detailed description of each of the processes that crossed the road to the revolution and from there extract a manual of action. Nor are we interested in making a “tribute”, a simple contemplative gaze that highlights the exceptionality of the past. The reason for this article is to put on the table the revolutionary efficiency of the Bolshevik party and to ask ourselves about the socialist revolution in Argentina, rather than the simple conservative commemoration of what happened.
