    Objetivos. La sociología hegemónica ha borrado voces del feminismo sociológico para así construir un canon masculino del saber sociológico. El ocultamiento de las raíces feministas de la sociología y de sus conceptualizaciones actuales es uno de los objetivos fundamentales de este artículo. El otro es mostrar el marco teórico que ha creado la sociología feminista. Metodología. Se han analizado exhaustivamente los textos más relevantes de la sociología feminista y se han estudiado las obras de las primeras sociólogas feministas del siglo XIX, tanto norteamericanas como europeas, con el objetivo de encontrar las raíces del feminismo sociológico y el borrado de sus fundadoras. Resultados y discusión. La ciencia sociológica, incluida la teoría sociológica crítica, ha impuesto un silencio conceptual, obstaculizando la tarea de las sociólogas en sus intentos de convertirse en sujetos de la investigación social, torpedeando sus hipótesis y situándolas en los márgenes de la academia. Conclusiones. Se ha creado en el interior de la sociología crítica una línea de investigación feminista con la que dialogan los autores más reconocidos de la sociología. Esta perspectiva ha creado un marco interpretativo con el objeto de analizar las estructuras simbólicas y materiales que sitúan a las mujeres en posiciones de subordinación. Sin embargo, el desafío del feminismo sociológico es comprender cómo puede hacerse sociología feminista en contra de la sociología hegemónica.

    Objectives. Hegemonic sociology has erased voices from sociological feminism in order to build a masculine canon of sociological knowledge. The concealment of the feminist roots of sociology and its current conceptualizations is one of the fundamental objectives of this article. The other is to show the theoretical framework that feminist sociology has created. Methodology. The most relevant texts of feminist sociology have been exhaustively analyzed and the works of the first feminist sociologists of the 19th century, both North American and European, have been studied with the aim of finding the roots of sociological feminism and the erasure of its founders. Results and Discussion. Sociological science, including critical sociological theory, has imposed a conceptual silence, hampering the task of sociologists in their attempts to become subjects of social research, torpedoing their hypotheses and placing them on the margins of academia. Conclusions. Within critical sociology, a line of feminist research has been created with which the most recognized authors in sociology dialogue. This perspective has created an interpretive framework in order to analyze the symbolic and material structures that place women in positions of subordination. However, the challenge for sociological feminism is to understand how feminist sociology can be made against hegemonic sociology.
