    Al final del primer cuarto del siglo XXI, la arquitectura del movimiento moderno se ha consolidado como una línea de investigación extendida en el territorio ibérico, filtrando y contaminando las Escuelas de Arquitectura, los Colegios de Arquitectos, y las instituciones públicas autonómicas y muni-cipales. Junto con las conquistas, se detectan los retos que enfrenta nuestra tan apreciada arquitectura del movimiento moderno. Sí. En España también fuimos modernos/as.El presente artículo reflexiona sobre la autoría como pieza crítica en la profundización y complejización del conoci-miento y valoración patrimonial, pero también en la sensi-bilización y participación social hacia nuestras arquitecturas de la modernidad ibérica. La temática ‘magistral’ nos sirve así de manera transversal para reflexionar sobre geogra-fías y lugares, aproximaciones y métodos, comunicación y participación. Para ello, partimos de obras modernas ibéricas ‘periféricas’, y en concreto del sur ibérico andaluz, obras con las que recorremos el marco temporal considerado del movimiento moderno.En el estudio de cada maestro se despliegan, a través de una obra momo, los procesos investigadores, pero también vitales que han rodeado su patrimonialización. El descubrimiento feliz, la experiencia de fuentes primarias como un archivo familiar, del propio edificio y la interacción con la red de agentes que ésta cose, exploran lo expe-riencial y emocional como componente ineludible de su conocimiento, en el que podemos encontrar la conexión y apropiación social. La fotografía completa esta reflexión propositiva, apostando por la capacidad comunicativa de este soporte, pero también deja abierto su potencial para provocar la participación. Participación efectiva a partir de la consolidación de una red de agentes a distintos nive-les hasta llegar a la ciudadanía, que permite la constante actualización movimiento moderno, asumiendo así la con-cepción dinámica y cambiante del patrimonio

    At the end of the first quarter of the 21st century, the architec-ture of the modern movement has consolidated itself as a line of research extended throughout the Iberian territory, filtering and contaminating the Schools of Architecture, the official board of architects, and the public institutions. Along with the conquests, the challenges facing our much-appreciated archi-tecture of the modern movement are detected. Yes, in Spain we were modern too.This article reflects on authorship as a critical piece in the deepening and complexity of knowledge and heritage valua-tion, but also in the awareness and social participation towards our architectures of Iberian modernity. The ‘magistral’ theme thus serves us in a transversal way to reflect on geographies and places, approaches and methods, communication and participation. To this end, we start with ‘peripheral’ Iberian mod-ern works, and specifically from the Iberian south of Andalusia, works with which we traverse the considered time frame of the Modern Movement.In the study of each master, through one of his works, the re-search processes, but also the vital processes that have sur-rounded their patrimonialization, are unfolded. The happy discovery, the experience of primary sources such as a family archive, of the building itself and the interaction with the net-work of agents that it stitches together, explore the experiential and emotional as an inescapable component of their knowl-edge, in which we can find the connection and social appro-priation. Photography completes this propositional reflection, betting on the communicative capacity of this medium, but also leaving open its potential to provoke participation. Effec-tive participation based on the consolidation of a network of agents at different levels up to the citizenry, which allows for the constant updating of modern movement, thus assuming the dynamic and changing conception of heritage
