    El artículo estudia cómo los Padres Apostólicos (Didaché, Epístola del Pseudo-Bernabé, Clemente de Roma, Ignacio de Antioquía, El pastor de Hermas, la segunda carta de Clemente, A Diogneto) concibieron y expresaron la unidad entre Padre, Hijo y, donde aparezca, Espíritu. Del análisis de sus textos, aun con diferencias, emerge una sustancial convergencia: estos autores profesan con claridad el monoteísmo y a la vez conciben Padre, Hijo y Espíritu (o, en su caso, Padre e Hijo) unidos. Divisan, pues, en Dios una pluralidad, que expresan de diferentes maneras. Por ejemplo, insistiendo en que el Hijo es Dios, definiendo de modo particular su generación, mostrando la sinergia de los tres en el obrar, aunque todavía no conceptúan con precisión la realidad trinitaria.

    The article studies how the apostolic Fathers (Didache, Epistle of Barnabas, Clement of Rome, Ignatius of Antioch, The Shepherd of Hermas, the Second Epistle of Clement, To Diognetus) conceived and expressed the unity between Father, Son and, where he is present, Spirit. From the analysis of their texts, even with differences, a substantial convergence appears: these authors clearly profess monotheism and at the same time conceive of Father, Son and Spirit (or Father and Son) as united. Therefore, they see in God a plurality, which they express in different ways. For example, insisting that the Son is God, defining in a particular way his generation, showing the synergy of the three in their actions, although they do not yet explore the trinitarian reality in depth.
