This paper briefly describes the generation of very low repetition rate optical frequency combs and the implementation of a high-resolution dual comb spectroscopy system based on them. The optical frequency combs are generated by pulsed gain-switching of commercial laser diodes under optical injection in a master-slave configuration. As application examples, we show the spectrum of the CO2 absorption line at 1572.02 nm recorded with a 100 MHz resolution, and, as the most relevant result, the reflection profile of a Fabry-Perot filter measured with an ultra-high resolution of 4 MHz.
