Resumen de Caminhos, encruzilhadas, porteiras e feitiços para uma filosofia popular brasileira

This article aims to present some reflections on certain aspects presents in the relationship between Brazilian popular philosophy and the macumbas (a set of religious activities that arise from the cross between the cultures of the African diaspora, the knowledge of the original peoples, and the popular Portuguese Catholicism). In this sense, at first, we will start from the notion of experience, which needs to be revisited in the light of popular knowledges in order to rethink the very notion of method. Method, then, no longer thought only as the opening of the path (as Descartes), in which the philosopher shows that there is only one to be followed, but thought from the wisdom of the forests, where the footsteps of the caboclos show us that every path is made for walking. Thus, more than a method, it seems that the question makes us rethink whether it is not “style” that we are dealing with or what we should need to deal with: the way we enchant and chant our spells so that philosophy no longer arrives loaded with the weight of a coloniality that only seems to paralyze us, like prey in front of the predator’s seductive gaze.

O presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar algumas reflexões acerca de certos aspectos que se mostram presentes na relação entre a filosofia popular brasilei-ra e as macumbas (conjunto de atividades culturais e religiosas que surgem do cruzo entre as culturas da diáspora africana, os saberes dos povos originários, e do catoli-cismo popular português). Nesse sentido, em um primeiro momento, partiremos da noção de experiência, que precisa ser revisitada quando tratamos desses saberes popu-lares para, com isso, repensar a própria noção de método. Método, então, não mais pensado tão somente como a abertura de caminho (como preconizou Descartes), no qual o filósofo mostra que só há um a ser seguido, mas pensado a partir das sabe-dorias das matas, onde a pisada dos caboclos nos mostram que todo caminho é feito para caminhar. Desse modo, mais do que método, parece que a questão nos leva a repensar se não é de estilo que tratamos ou que precisamos tratar: do modo como encantamos e entoamos nossos feitiços para que a filosofia deixe de nos chegar carre-gada com o peso de uma colonialidade que parece só nos deixar paralisados, como a presa diante do olhar sedutor do predador.
