The sociology of climate change provides an important perspective for understanding and explaining how individuals and societies approach environmental issues. This study will focus on the position of individuals in the context of the climate crisis. The participants of the study were selected among individuals with postgraduate education in Turkey; in-depth interviews were conducted with the participants using qualitative research methods. In the study, the effects of the systematic and potentially irreversible the consequences of the climate crisis on individuals are discussed and evaluated in the context of concepts such as eco-anxiety, eco-guilt, solastalgia. The results of the study will provide valuable information about the emotional responses of educated people in Turkey to climate change and the social impacts of these responses. This study aims to contribute to the literature as a basis for understanding the psycho-social effects of climate change on individuals and for generating social solutions.
