The present work has as its methodology bibliographic research, with authors that deal with the stated theme and that are based on the dialectical critical method and the Historical-Cultural Theory. Therefore, this research becomes relevant in order to contribute significantly to the understanding of what is dyslexia, what are the possible causes, symptoms, possible treatments and diagnoses, besides discussing what possibilities of interventions the psychopedagogist can perform in the face of this learning disorder. Therefore, the results of the study indicated the importance of the work of this professional to collaborate with the learning and integral development of the educator in its entirety.
