  El objetivo general de la investigación fue analizar jurídicamente el derecho constitucional a la soberanía alimentaria. La presente investigación utilizó el método cuantitativo el cual produce datos descriptivos, que se originan por la recolección de datos. Apoyado en la revisión documental-bibliográfica. Además, se aplicó el método inductivo-deductivo. Se planteó además el método analítico-sintético. La técnica de la encuesta utilizada para recabar información, el cuestionario fue aplicado a una muestra de 108 personas mediante la herramienta Microsoft Forms. Se concluye que, En Ecuador la soberanía alimentaria es un deber importante del Estado, el cual se encuentra establecido en la Constitución de la República del Ecuador (2008) aquí se enfatiza que las personas poseen derecho a vivir en paz y armonía dentro de un entorno de vida adecuado y a mantener su integridad y el bienestar común.

  The overall objective of the research was to legally analyze the constitutional right to food sovereignty. This research used the quantitative method, which produces descriptive data, originating from data collection. Supported by the documentary-bibliographic review. In addition, the inductive-deductive method was applied. The analytical-synthetic method was also used. The survey technique used to collect information, the questionnaire was applied to a sample of 108 people using the Microsoft Forms tool. It is concluded that, in Ecuador food sovereignty is an important duty of the State, which is established in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador (2008) where it is emphasized that people have the right to live in peace and harmony within a suitable living environment and to maintain their integrity and common welfare.
