Desafíos sociales ante el COVID-19 en los enclaves turísticos de la Riviera Nayarit

    El objetivo de este texto es subrayar que la introducción del turismo en el espacio rural contribuye en la generación de una nueva ruralidad. Para ello presento el caso de estudio del parque ecoturístico El Borbollón, en donde he realizado trabajo etnográfico que me ha permitido conocer la experiencia de los miembros de la Cooperativa Pese-ndeje, acerca de su participación en la actividad turística. Lo que me ha llevado a establecer que el turismo rural no necesariamente llega a desplazar las actividades económicas tradicionales o a modificar las relaciones de género.

    The research results of the ethnography implemented via social networks are presented through a questionnaire Facebook and interviews on WhatsApp, Google Meet and Zoom to know the impacts of the COVID-19 that they imposed, the social distancing and the involuntary confinement between tourism workers; as well as the social challenges that job deactivation represented by gender in the lives of the inhabitants of the local societies of the 23 tourist enclaves of the Riviera Nayarit. The investigation was carried out taking into consideration the theoretical perspective of the critical analysis of tourism that affects deepening the complexity of social, economic and labor phenomena around tourism.
