    El presente trabajo pretende abordar el papel, poder, importancia y la trayecto-ria que las distintas mujeres de la Casas de Quirra y Nules tuvieron en el linaje, tanto de los Carròs de Centelles, como de los Catalá de Valeriola. De igual manera se hará mención a algunas nobles de la familia Borja, quien también ostentaron estos títulos en determinados momentos. El marco estudiado abarcaría desde inicios del siglo XVI hasta los primeros años del siglo XIX, momento en que se agota la línea sucesoria, en vísperas de la abolición del régimen señorial. Todas estas damas, pertenecientes a la nobleza y la alta aristocracia, aparte de relaciones personales y convenientes con otros linajes, aportaron riqueza, poder e incluso el acercamiento de los marqueses de Quirra y Nules a la Corte Real. Y es que, en la mayoría de casos, serían estas mujeres la que contribuirían a alcanzar la verdadera nobleza, poder y riqueza para la Casa.

    This paper aims to address the role, power, importance and trajectory that the different women of the Houses of Quirra and Nules had in the lineage, both the Carròs de Centelles, and the Catalá de Valeriola. In the same way, mention will be made of some nobles of the Borja family, who also held these titles at certain times.The period studied would cover from the beginning, middle and end of the sixteenth century to the first years of the nineteenth century,moment in which the line of succession is exhausted, on the eve of the abolition of the manorial regime. All these ladies, belonging to the nobility and high aristocracy, apart from personal and convenient relationships with other lineages, brought wealth, power and even the rapprochement of the Marquises of Quirra and Nules with the Royal Court. In most cases, these women would be the ones to contribute to achieve the true nobility, power and wealth for the House.
