  En el presente trabajo se aborda de manera general las principales características físico geográficas del Polo Turístico Maguana así como la caracterización las unidades de paisajes de primer orden o geocomplejos con el objetivo de ofrecer información para el desarrollo de actividades de trabajo de campo vinculadas al Programa de Práctica de campo de la especialidad de Educación en Geografía, de manera que propicie el conocimiento de ese espacio geográfico por parte de los estudiantes y la vinculación docente y técnico entre la Universidad de Guantánamoy la Dirección Provincial de Planificación Guantánamo.

  This paper deals in a general way with the main geographical physical characteristics of the Maguana Tourist Pole, as well as the characterization of the first-order landscape or geo-complex units with the aim of offering information for the development of field work activities linked to the Program of Field practice of the specialty of Education in Geography, so as to promote the knowledge of that geographical space by students and the teaching and technical link between the University of Guantanamo and the Provincial Directorate of Planning Guantanamo.
