  El estudio de los símbolos universitarios debe constituir el centro de los proyectos educomunicativos existentes, sin embargo, la gestión del conocimiento y la información de los símbolos de la Universidad de Oriente precisa de una mayor comunicación e interpretación por los públicos universitarios. La metodologíacualitativa utilizada sobre la base del paradigma hermenéutico identificó los contextos históricos y culturales que dieron origen a los símbolos. El método histórico- lógico y la comprensión del principio de identidad y de la sistematización del conocimiento permitió aportar el registro de símbolos de la Universidad de Oriente en su etapa inicial del 1947-1959.

  The study of the university symbols must constitute the center of the existing edu-communication projects, however, the knowledge and information management of the symbols of the Universidad de Oriente requires more communication and interpretation by university audiences. The qualitative methodology used on the basis of the hermeneutical paradigm identified the historical and cultural contexts that gave rise to the symbols. The historical-logical method and the understanding of the principle of identity and the systematization of knowledge made it possible to provide the symbol registry of the Universidad de Oriente in its initial stage from 1947-1959.
