    España como nación ha pasado de ser el blanco de un terrorismo puramente estatal a estar bajo el punto de mira de uno de carácter transnacional, y la conmoción social y mediática que ha ocasionado no dejan a los países miembros otra alternativa que una lucha directa contra esta amenaza mundial. Para poder asegurar la efectividad del fin de los grupos terroristas, es de vital importancia detectar y cortar las fuentes de financiación, pero más allá de ello, ser capaces de averiguar los métodos de movimientos de capitales que utilizan, que pueden encontrarse tanto dentro como fuera de los circuitos legales. Para poder realizar el estudio se han tenido en cuenta los marcos legislativos vigentes a nivel nacional, europeo e internacional, las fuentes de financiación legales e ilegales más relevantes, los métodos de movimiento de capitales dentro y fuera del circuito legal y por ultimo una breve descripción del destino de los fondos.

    Spain as a nation has gone from being the target of national terrorism to being under the spotlight of one of a transnational nature, and in addition to the social and media commotion that it has caused, it has left western countries no other alternative but to tackle this global threat. In order to ensure the end of terrorist groups, it is vital to detect and cut funding sources, but beyond that, to be able to discover the methods of movements of capital which are being used, and that can be found both inside and outside of legal circuits. In order to carry out the study, the current national, European and international frameworks, the most relevant sources of legal and illegal financing, the methods of movement of capital inside and outside the legal circuit and a brief description of the common destination of the funds have all been taken into account and furthermore been analysed.
