La gamificación para fortalecer el aprendizaje significativo

    Actualmente, se necesitan grandes cambios en el ámbito educativo, el reto es transformar esa educación, formar personas íntegras, apostar por el mejoramiento de las condiciones de vida, cerrar brechas, fortalecer las habilidades de las personas para que tengan un buen desempeño académico, y así, en un futuro, puedan asegurar el éxito en su vida personal, laboral y social.

    La idea de este artículo es compartir algunas consideraciones que se tienen para mejorar los procesos académicos y que son necesarios seguir para aportarle a la calidad educativa, por ello se hace una breve descripción sobre una de las metodologías activas más significativas y utilizadas actualmente como lo es la gamificación, se dan a conocer algunos datos considerables sobre ella, sus principales características y elementos, las posibles ventajas e inconvenientes que se pueden presentar con su implementación. Se da a conocer, de igual forma, el valioso papel que cumple el docente al planear y llevar a cabo esta novedosa estrategia. Es así como se reflexiona acerca de la importancia de innovar en el contexto educativo para hacer un cambio que favorezca en primer lugar al estudiante.

    Currently, great changes are needed in the educational field, the challenge is to transform that education, train people of integrity, bet on improving living conditions, closing gaps, strengthening people's skill so that they have a good academic performance, and thus, in the future, they can ensure success in their professional, personal and social life.The idea of this article is to share some considerations that are taken to improve academic processes and that are necessary to continue to provide educational quality, for this reason a brief description is made of one of the most significant and currently used active methodologies such as gamification, some considerable information about it is disclosed, its main characteristics and elements, the possible advantages and disadvantages that may arise with its implementation. In the same way, the valuable role that the teacher fulfills when planning and carrying out this innovative strategy is made known.

    This is how we reflect on the importance of innovating in the educational context to make a change that favors the student in the first place.
