    • Purpose: As a traditional handicraft with strong cultural characteristics, Thai lacquerware has been widely concerned by the cultural circle. The purpose of this study is to explore the origin, development, process design and cultural interaction of Thai lacquerware. Method: Through the in-depth study of Thai lacquerware, its design elements and cultural connotation are analyzed, and its interaction with different cultures is revealed through the comparison and dialogue with the lacquer culture of China and other countries. Results: The research results show that the process design of lacquer ware exported from Thailand is deeply influenced by Thai local culture and religious beliefs, and it realizes innovation and development through exchanges with other cultures, especially influenced by Chinese lacquer culture, which contains a large number of Chinese elements in lacquer decoration. Conclusion: This study explores the process design and cultural interaction of lacquer ware exported from Thailand from a cross-cultural perspective, and provides a new perspective and theoretical support for the research in related fields.
