The environment of cities has changed significantly in recent years, generating the need in its population to adapt their recreational practices. Urban sport was born from that need, adapting its practice to the spaces and elements of cities. The recent dynamic of Olympic inclusion of some of these sports offers the perfect opportunity for their integration into the subject of Physical Education in search of, as stated in the LOMLOE, the acquisition of motor competence and comprehensive development through a broad range of motor situations. Its easy access and low cost, added to its social nature, makes urban sport a perfect alternative for increasing levels of physical activity and achieving real adherence. On the other hand, it enhances creativity, with no regulatory yoke that suffocates it. This adaptability facilitates the adaptation of the practice to the needs of the groupclass. At the curricular level, it shows a relationship with the six blocks of basic knowledge, in addition to facilitating, through appropriate treatment, the acquisition of the eight key competencies. Urban sport can be worked on from various pedagogical models and allows interdisciplinary work between different subjects, thus interconnecting the contents in an efficient and motivating way. For these reasons, it is presented as an ideal option for the development of the Physical Education curriculum in a flexible and motivating way, in search of comprehensive student development
