    El alejamiento geográfico y/o afectivo del personaje del padre, que encontramos en las novelas Tristura y Escribo tu nombre de Elena Quiroga, en Memorias de Leticia Valle de Rosa Chacel y en la trilogía Los mercaderes de Ana María Matute, así como su representación hecha por otros personajes, participan de la dificultad de la afirmación identitaria de la narradora. Eso conduce al establecimiento de una instancia narrativa deficiente, es decir incompleta, compuesta por silencios que se le imponen a la joven narradora a través del alejamiento del padre, única figura parental, ya que su madre se murió.

    ¿Cuáles son los procedimientos narrativos que exponen el desarraigo de la niña de su origen familial y cuáles son las consecuencias de la difícil afirmación identitaria del personaje principal para la instancia narrativa? Mostraremos cómo se opera el alejamiento del y al padre, que es también un alejamiento a un lugar de origen (la península española, otra ciudad de España, etc.), y las consecuencias del desarraigo familiar sobre la construcción identitaria del personaje así como sobre la frágil afirmación de la instancia narrativa en las novelas estudiadas.

    The geographical and/or affective distance from the father figure, which we find in the novels Tristura and Escribo tu nombre by Elena Quiroga, in Memorias de Leticia Valle by Rosa Chacel and in the trilogy Los mercaderes by Ana María Matute, as well as its representation by other characters discourses, participate in the difficulty of the narrator’s identity affirmation. This leads to the establishment of a deficient narrative instance, which is incomplete, made up of silences imposed on the young narrator through the estrangement from her father, the only parental figure, since her mother has died. What are the narrative procedures that expose the uprooting of the girl from her family origins and what are the consequences of the main character’s difficult affirmation of identity for the narrative instance? We will show how the distancing from and of the father is operated, which is also a distancing to a place of origin (the Spanish peninsula, another city in Spain, etc.), and the consequences of the family uprooting on the construction of the character’s identity as well as on the fragile affirmation of the narrative instance in the novels studied.
