Resumen de La vinculación de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias (FAR) con el “movimiento de masas”: fases, frentes y modos de “articulación” (1970-1973)

Uno de los temas más soslayados a la hora de abordar la trayectoria de las organizaciones armadas revolucionaras es la vinculación que estas lograron establecer con otros sectores militantes, ampliando sus bases políticas y convirtiéndolas en actores con una influencia y capacidad movilizadora considerable en el tránsito final de la Revolución Argentina (1966-1973). En este trabajo nos proponemos analizar esa interrelación tomando como objeto un estudio de caso: las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias (FAR). Para cumplir con la tarea propuesta dividimos el artículo en tres secciones. En la primera, abordamos la forma en que las FAR concibieron inicialmente su relación con otros sectores. Seguidamente, damos cuenta de la búsqueda por establecer los primeros contactos y relaciones con otras franjas de la militancia movilizada, en una segunda etapa que podemos ubicar entre su aparición pública (julio de 1970) y fines de 1971. Finalmente, indagamos cómo, al calor de la creciente adhesión lograda por la Juventud Peronista y los sectores revolucionarios del peronismo, la organización pasó a propiciar una “articulación” más orgánica y extendida con el “movimiento de masas”, a lo largo del año 1972 y principios de 1973, haciendo foco en sus tres principales frentes de inserción: el estudiantil, el barrial y el sindical. La labor efectuada nos permitió establecer que la militancia armada y no armada de las FAR constituyeron un aporte nada desdeñable para dar forma a la organización político-militar más importante del período: Montoneros.

One of the most neglected topics about the revolutionary armed organizations in Argentina is the links they managed to establish with non-armed militant sectors. Especially considering that this phenomenon allowed them to broaden their political influence and turned them into relevant actors in the twilight of the Argentinian Revolution (1966-1973). The aim of this is to analyze this connection focusing in the case of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR). To fulfill this purpose, we divided the work in three different parts. In the first one, we look over the FAR´s original conception about the linkage with other activists. In the second, we examine the initial contacts and relations promoted by the organization, which we consider the second stage in our analysis and lasted from the FAR´s public appearance (July 1970) to the end of 1971. Finally, we investigate how the organization encouraged a more organic and extended ‘articulation’ with the ‘mass movement’ concentrating in the three main fronts of activism: students, neighborhoods and trade unions. In this last stage, which began in 1972 and finished at the beginning of 1973, the FAR take advantage of the growing basses of the Peronist Youth and the revolutionary sectors of Peronism. The task achieved permitted us to conclude that the FAR contributed considerably in shaping the most important political-military organization of the period: Montoneros.
