    Resumen: A partir del análisis de experiencias comunitarias, científicas y gubernamentales que han tenido como objeto al patrimonio cultural en Comodoro Rivadavia, Puerto Madryn y Puerto Pirámides, localidades costeras de la provincia de Chubut, en este artículo se des criben y comparan los procesos de patrimonialización emergentes en los últimos treinta años teniendo en cuenta la relación entre las normativas vigentes, los principales grupos de interés y los modos de apropiación patrimonial. Si bien las tres localidades han tenido un origen portuario en el marco de consolida ción de los Territorios Nacionales, su desarrollo posterior ha estado marcado por los sistemas productivos dominantes en ellas. Asimismo, las matrices culturales tanto de los pueblos originarios que habitan los territorios como las corrientes migratorias de diversos orígenes étnicos permiten explicar algunas de las iniciativas patrimoniales, las respuestas y el com promiso de las comunidades respecto al cuidado del patrimonio cultural y la actuación de los gobiernos locales en su preservación, plasmado en las normativas y políticas patrimoniales.

    Abstract: Based on the analysis of community, scientific and governmental experiences that have had cultural heritage as their object in coastal towns of the province of Chubut such as Comodoro Rivadavia, Puerto Madryn and Puerto Pirámides, this article describes and compares the emerging patrimonialization processes in the last thirty years, taking into account the relationship between current regulations, the main stakeholders and the modes patrimonial appropriation. Although the three towns have had a port origin within the framework of the conso lidation of the National Territories, their later development has been marked by the dominant productive systems in them. Likewise, the cultural matrices of both the native peoples that inhabit the territories and the migratory currents of diverse ethnic origins allow explaining some of the heritage initiatives, the responses and the commitment of the communities regarding the guard of the cultural heritage and the actions of local governments in its pre servation, embodied in heritage regulations and policies.
