Developing an online-based lecturing strategy to increase the absorption of lecturing materials for postgraduate students

    • Aim: The aim of this study was to assess the influence of various online resources, such as learning guides, semester learning plans, lecture units, and learning materials, on the students’ ability to comprehend and retain the lecture material. The focus of the research was on master’s in educational technology students at Bengkulu University. Methodology: This study utilised a sample of 110 students gathered through a random sampling method to establish the findings. The research findings were determined using version 29 of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Results: The research of this study has established that online learning guides, online lecture units, and online learning materials have a noteworthy and favourable effect on enhancing students’ understanding and retention of lecture material. Conclusion: However, the study found that online semester learning plans do not have a substantial effect on improving the retention of lecture material. The research significantly contributed to the existing body of knowledge with its groundbreaking discoveries. This study also suggests policy implications to enhance strategies for improving the absorption of lecture material by students.
