    • Objective: This dissertation examines the cultural legacy and utilisation of Yungang Grottoes sculptures in the field of art education. This paper centres on the creation of cultural and artistic items inspired by the Yungang Grottoes. It aims to combine contemporary aesthetic and spiritual demands, and endeavours to investigate the process and methodology of scientifically analysing and extracting visual elements from the Yungang Grottoes. Ultimately, the goal is to transform these elements into cultural and artistic products. Method: This paper thoroughly examines the historical development and cultural significance of the Yungang Grottoes. It categorises the Buddha statues found in the grottoes and identifies the patterns and symbols present in them. Furthermore, it analyses the cultural and creative products associated with exceptional Buddhist cultural sites. This paper examines the importance of the statues found in the Yungang Grottoes in the context of art education. Result: The proposal suggests implementing concrete strategies to incorporate the Yungang Grottoes statues into art education. These strategies include creating relevant courses, utilising digital technology for display purposes, arranging field trips, and more. Conclusion: The ultimate goal is to facilitate the seamless integration of cultural heritage and art education, while also nurturing exceptional individuals with a global perspective and strong cross-cultural communication skills.
