  El objetivo de la investigación consiste en reconocer el potencial que tiene el ecoturismo como alternativa de desarrollo sostenible en territorios de posconflicto, a fin de aportar a la recuperación social y la consolidación de paz. La metodología utilizada es mixta concluyente, la cual intervino la población que conforma la cadena ecoturística y representantes de las alcaldías en los municipios Chaparral, Ataco y Planadas del departamento del Tolima, Colombia. Se obtuvo como resultado una percepción favorable para la oferta de servicios ecoturísticos por parte de la población, intención de participar en la oferta de este tipo de actividades en un ambiente comunitario, de inclusión y reconciliación, con un enfoque que converge en la dinámica del desarrollo sostenible. Como conclusión, se añade que el ecoturismo es una actividad que puede propiciar en las zonas que fueron más afectadas por el conflicto, un ambiente para la recuperación del tejido social y la consolidación de paz como estrategia en el posconflicto colombiano, identificando la importancia de crear programas que fortalezcan y fomenten este tipo de proyectos en los municipios.

  The objective of the research is to recognize the potential of ecotourism as an alternative for sustainable development in post-conflict territories, in order to contribute to social recovery and peacebuilding. The methodology used is conclusive mixed, which involved the population that makes up the ecotourism chain and representatives of the mayors in the Chaparral, Ataco and Planadas municipalities of the Tolima department, Colombia. As a result, a favorable perception was obtained for the offer of ecotourism services by the population, the intention to participate in the offer of this type of activities in a community environment of inclusion and reconciliation, with an approach that converges in the dynamics of development. sustainable.
