    Introducción: El enfoque de género en salud permite comprender inequidades en salud, ayudando a generar propuestas de acción para eliminarlas. Para esto, la capacitación y formación en temáticas de género debe ser transversal a todas las personas y no solo a los grupos históricamente vulnerados.Objetivo: Describir, mediante porcentajes, el género de participantes en cursos de género y salud. Materiales y Métodos:  Se realizó un estudio transversal descriptivo de las inscripciones en cuatro cursos sobre Genero y Salud realizados por el Colegio Médico de Chile entre el 2018 y el 2022. Se agrupó por género y se realizaron estadísticas descriptivas y gráficos para el análisis. Resultados: En todos los cursos evaluados el porcentaje de personas inscritas del género femenino fue mayor al 70%. Las personas que se identifican con otros géneros distintos del femenino y masculino, fluctúan entre 1% a 3,9%. Conclusión: El género se relaciona con la participación en los cursos evaluados. Se deben ampliar estudios para evaluar las razones de estas diferencias.

    Introduction: gender is a social construction that hierarchically assigns roles and models behaviors based on the sexual differentiation of people. The objective of this research is to establish the percentage of interest and participation according to gender in training instances on the subject. Material and Method: A quantitative descriptive cross-sectional study of four voluntary and free courses carried out by the Department of Gender and Health of the Medical College of Chile AG between 2018 and 2022 was carried out. It was grouped by gender female, male and others to the absolute number of participants in each course. Descriptive statistics and graphs were then made for subsequent analysis. Results: In all the courses evaluated, the percentage of participation of the female gender was always over 70%. With regard to the participation of people of the male gender, the courses did not exceed 20%, with the exception of the course "LGBTQIA+ Concepts in Health (...)" which reached 22.1% male participation. In the other variant, a lower percentage of participation of people who identify with other genders than feminine and masculine is grouped, fluctuating between 1% and 3.9%. Conclusion: Gender is a significant factor in the participation of the evaluated courses; The great differences in the percentage of registration according to gender demonstrate this. It is suggested to implement changes to optimize the lack of gender training in the entire population.
