  • Aim: With the rapid development of the music industry and the arrival of cultural transformation, music education plays an important role in promoting the sustainable development of the music industry. However, the current mode of music education in Yunnan Province mainly focuses on imparting theoretical knowledge and skills, which can no longer meet the needs of modern music industry. Methodology: Aiming at this problem, this paper summarizes and analyzes the current situation of Yunnan music industry, and points out the development bottleneck of Yunnan music industry. Results: The research results show that the reform and innovation of music education mode is the key to promote the sustainable development of the music industry in Yunnan Province. Through strengthening the training of music education professionals, improving music education courses and strengthening the cooperation between schools and the music industry, the development of the music industry in Yunnan Province can be promoted and its professional level and influence can be enhanced. Inject new vitality into cultural transformation and economic development.
