The essay concerns the erosion of the German model of collective bargaining. After a brief introduction of the relevant legal framework, the author focuses on the decline of bargaining coverage at sectoral le¬vel, highlighting the various contests in which collective bargaining seems to be resilient or not, as well as the most recent statutory reforms that might have an impact on this issue.
